On behalf of the IHRA's Steering Committee on Education Research and the University of Teacher Education in Lucerne, Switzerland, it is our pleasure to invite you to the concluding conference of the IHRA Education Research Project.

Conference Title: International Research Conference on Education about the Holocaust
Dates: (14), 15, 16 (and 17) February 2016
Location: University of Teacher Education Lucerne (PH Luzern), Switzerland

The IHRA Education Research Project aims to provide an overview of the knowledge coming out of empirical research about Holocaust education. A specific focus is the international multilingual perspective, with our international expert team collecting studies in over ten languages.

The concluding conference of the Education Research Project will present the outcomes of the research, and aims to facilitate networking amongst researches, as well as to foster dialog between researchers and policy makers. The conference program includes a series of keynote presentations and workshops featuring the results of the Education Research Project and other major research studies in Holocaust education. The conference will also explore the implications of this research on government policy, educational practice and further research efforts. Concluding panels comprising representatives of funding organizations and educational decision-makers will discuss the key findings, best practices and recommendations.
